The Sabine School District (1,572 students, 4 campuses, 273 employees) is beginning the search for our next Director of Business Operations (DBO). This ideal applicant should possess a strong foundation in Texas school district finance and general accounting, demonstrated experience in public school education operations, and be professionally prepared to assume District administrative leadership responsibility that includes monitoring the management of all Sabine ISD funds and serving as the chief financial and budget advisor for the District.
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for oversight of all financial and business affairs of the district. Provide leadership for the district’s financial services activity to ensure legally sound and effective management practices. Direct and monitor the management and investment of all district funds and ensure they are adequately protected. Serve as chief financial advisor and budget advisor to the superintendent and board of trustees. Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. Bachelor of Accounting, Business or Finance.

SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST 4/21/25
Gregg County Special Education Shared Service Arrangement is currently seeking
applications for the FULL-TIME position of SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST for
187 school days during the 2025-2026 school year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
OR
2. Valid state license as a speech/language pathologist
JOB DUTIES:
1. Provide speech/language remediation and instruction to eligible students
2. Provide assessment for speech/language problems as certificate or license
requires
3. Maintain eligibility folders on eligible students
4. Prepare notes and other written documentation as required by SHARS and
the Texas Education Agency

Bus Driver 4/21/25

Qualifications: Valid Texas Commercial driver’s license (Class B with P & S endorsements), 21 years of age, ability to pass DOT alcohol and drug test, ability to pass a DOT Physical, and a criminal background check. Performance Responsibilities:
1. Follow assigned route and adhere to established schedules.
2. Drive bus to and from extracurricular activities.
3. Check bus for mechanical defects before and after each operation and notify supervisor of needed repairs.
4. Maintain paperwork, daily bus mileage, pre-trip and post trip student head count.
5. Keep assigned bus clean and fueled.
6. Communicate with Administrative staff and parents on student behavior as needed.
7. Maintain student discipline and report violations to proper administrator.
8. Ensure safe operation of school bus on all roadways.
