At the Sabine Cardinal Football camp we will provide an opportunity for young and future players to develop and improve their skills. We want to help them to be better prepared for the upcoming Football season. All fundamental skills will be taught and practiced daily. This is a non-contact camp geared toward in-depth football instruction at all positions. We look forward to a fun and productive camp.
The Sabine Cardinal coaching staff will be offering a summer strength and conditioning program for our grades 7-12 athletes. The program will consist of varied weight training as well as agility, speed, and flexibility workouts. The program will start on June 5, and run from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., Monday thru Thursday for six weeks.
Tuesday, March 28 - 4th Grade Writing, 5th Grade Math. Wednesday, March 29-5th Grade Reading. Monday, May 8-3rd Grade Math, 4th Grade Math, 5th Grade Math Retest. Tuesday, May 9-3rd Grade Reading, 4th Grade Reading, 5th Grade Reading Retest. Wednesday, June 20-5th Grade Math Retest. Wednesday, June 21-5th Grade Reading Retest.
Jump Rope for Heart is an annual fundraising event held at Sabine Elementary school, and at schools nationwide, benefiting the American Heart Association. The Jump Rope For Heart event is for all 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders at Sabine who raised money for the American Heart Association. This year the students raised a grand total of $13,260.50.

Sabine Independent School District Adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 2.60 percent and will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $26.33
Sabine High School is proud to announce senior Devin Thompson as a semifinalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program. He is the son of Chad and Teresa Thompson. Devin is one of 1.6 million juniors in over 22,000 high schools that entered the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2015 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
