Sabine Cross Country Team Wins Big at Elysian Fields

Congratulations to the Sabine Cross Country team for winning first place overall at the Elysian Fields Invitational meet this past Friday!  Senior David Robinson led the way for the varsity boys winning first place with a time of 17 minutes and 28 seconds.  Caleb Cox and Kevin Maldonado also won medals for earning places in the top five, finishing 3rd and 4th respectively.  Daniel Robinson was 6th place, Dalen Dowell finished 7th, Lane Clanton was 10th, Clinton Perry was 11th, and Evan Brenner placed 17th.  
The girls team also won 1st place, led by Emma Logan's first place finish!  Gisele Flores won the 5th place medal.  Hailey Aguilar won 6th place, Reese Rutland 7th, and MacKenzie Alexander 9th, and Greta Chubboy finished 10th.  Callie Loftis was 13th place, Lesli Flores 14th, and Ana Delgado 17th place.  The Cross Country will continue to prepare for the District meet on October 28th in Mt. Pleasant.
